Valencia Community College believed that their marketing materials for the upcoming season of dance and theater programs were in need of refreshing and updating.
After a discovery session reviewing the current marketing materials and working with the client to determine objectives, the Acropolis team designed and wrote several collateral options that would help elevate the perception of the program and drive sales of season tickets while remaining very conscious of the budget parameters of an educational institution.
Valencia chose a version that employed a very simple, clean, elegant design approach that communicated the benefits of the Arts and Entertainment program, a description of the offerings as well as a calendar and ordering information. On recommendation of the agency, the program was renamed “ARTS” instead of Arts and Entertainment to help position the productions as higher quality and in fact more in line with their existing high standards. Through smart design and a keen eye, the “ARTS” program at Valencia was given a refresh worthy of the talented students and faculty who create these entertaining real world learning opportunities for students.
